Short description
VidBee is a free, open-source desktop app for downloading video and audio, creating transcripts and working with media through AI. It runs on macOS, Windows and Linux.
Long description
VidBee brings media downloads, local transcription and AI conversations into one desktop workspace. Built on yt-dlp, it supports queues, playlists and subscriptions, with quality and format controls for supported sources.
Transcripts keep spoken words, timestamps and speaker labels together. Users can search their recordings, export text and subtitles, or choose an AI provider to work with a transcript. Desktop downloads and libraries stay on the device; optional Cloud services and external AI providers have their own data boundaries.
