Scope
This policy covers the VidBee website (vidbee.org), the VidBee desktop app for Windows, macOS, and Linux, and related services such as update checks and release downloads.
When you download or subscribe to content from third-party platforms, those providers handle your requests under their own privacy policies.
Data we collect on the website
We collect limited technical and usage data to operate the site and understand traffic.
If you submit feedback through surveys, we collect the information you provide.

Data stored locally in the app
VidBee runs locally and stores data on your device. We do not upload your downloads, RSS feeds, or media libraries to our servers.

Optional analytics in the app
The app can send anonymous usage analytics if you enable it in Settings.
This helps us prioritize fixes and improvements. You can disable analytics at any time.

Local app data stays on your device until you delete it or remove the app.
